2008 was a historic year for Liverpool, from the star-studded opening ceremony outside St George’s Hall to the invasion of a giant spider and the closing ‘transition’ event at the Pier Head in January 09 – not to mention everything in between!
We project managed the delivery and maintenance of the Liverpool08 website; which received over 200,000 unique visits monthly, during European Capital of Culture year.
Managed all digital marketing channels – 98% of European Capital of Culture events SOLD OUT – 75% of tickets acquired through digital channels such as the website, email newsletters, social media campaign and online PR.
Managed the acquisition and maintenance of the Liverpool Culture Company email system, executed and supervised the 08 email strategy, which included the delivery of a weekly email bulletin to a client database of over 38,000 registered users in the UK, mainland Europe and the USA.
